A.: Yes, it's completely safe to install, especially now when the driver is Microsoft-cross-signed, so its origin and integrity and fully assured. Just follow the simple installation instructions. Also (optional, but recommended step) you can install the Power Plan Assistant software first. In fact, the Trackpad++ does not interfere with any of the Boot Camp drivers installed. I'm running Windows 7 64-bit on a MacBook Air Mid-2012 13". I've installed the Boot Camp support software version 5.1.5621. When I am in Windows and go to Control Panel, System and Security, Boot Camp OR if I click on the Boot Camp icon in the lower right and choose Boot Camp control panel, neither options provide a "Trackpad" tab. Any suggestions? I currently can only left-click. No right click or scroll on track pad.

The only remaining problem I have is that my Magic Trackpad is a bit erratic under Windows. Everything works but the sensitivity is funny making it difficult to use effectively. On El Capitan it works great. Wonder if there is (or will be) a control panel for windows to adjust the sensitivity and other features of the Magic Trackpad on Windows.

Hey i have a solution i have a Bluetooth mouse and my trackpad was still going crazy so to disable it type universal access in the search bar and then click on trackpad near the bottom and turn off!!!:) this can not be accessed by just the regular control panel
